My name is Sofiya Bogatova, I am an experienced clinical psychologist and a specialist in cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am inspired by the study of personality, an active lifestyle, books, and nature.
I graduated from Orenburg State Medical University (OSMU) with a degree in Clinical Psychology. Currently, I am a postgraduate student at St. Petersburg State University (SPbSU) in the Department of Clinical Psychology.
After graduating from medical university, I worked at a rehabilitation center for patients who had undergone cancer therapy. Due to my move to St. Petersburg, I had to leave this practice. I also worked at the Albrecht Rehabilitation Institute in St. Petersburg.
I am currently engaged in private practice and also work at the company "ENEF".
I am a member of the Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapists and the Russian Psychotherapeutic Association. I completed advanced training courses (275 hours) at the Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy in St. Petersburg.
I completed advanced training courses in Motivational Interviewing (Motivational Interviewing - Foundational) with William Richard Miller, Theresa B. Moyers, and Stephen Rollnick, as well as a course on ethics in psychotherapy and counseling (S. Babin, A. Shaboltas, N. Bekhtereva, M. Spasskaya).
I regularly undergo supervision with Svetlana Lyashkovskaya and Svetlana Nikolskaya.
